Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Job Overview:
Growing fire and life safety company seeking a professional to support daily receiving, inventory, and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate for this position would possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This role also involves collaboration with various departments to ensure materials are properly received, entered into the system, organized, and prepared for shipment.
Essential Functions:
Receiving, unloading, verifying, and inspecting incoming materials and deliveries. Comparing received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, part numbers, and expected quantities. Accurately entering received materials and inventory information into the company's internal system. Identifying and reporting missing, incorrect, damaged, or incomplete materials. Notifying the appropriate departments when materials and purchase orders are received. Responding to internal emails regarding received materials, inventory, and orders. Labeling, organizing, and storing products in their appropriate warehouse locations. Maintaining accurate and updated inventory records. Locating and picking the correct products for each order. Verifying part numbers, SKUs, quantities, and product condition before shipment. Carefully packing products and printing shipping labels. Updating order statuses in the company's internal system. Organizing and preparing packages for UPS pickup. Working with the Sales, Purchasing, Customer Support, and other departments to resolve material- and order-related issues. Maintaining clean, safe, and organized receiving, inventory, packing, and shipping areas. Performing other duties related to warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are mandatory. Solid general computer skills and the ability to learn new systems. Ability to enter information accurately and maintain updated records. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required. The ability to communicate verbally in Portuguese is required for interactions with other employees. Reading and writing in Portuguese are not required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear information to different departments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other employees. Ability to stand, move throughout the warehouse, and safely handle boxes and materials. Commitment to accuracy, organization, punctuality, and following company procedures.
Preferred Knowledge:
Quickbooks Previous experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, receiving, shipping, or inventory control. Experience with data entry and inventory management systems. Experience preparing packages and orders for UPS shipment. Basic knowledge of Excel. Familiarity with purchase orders, packing slips, SKUs, and part numbers. Experience collaborating with multiple departments. Knowledge of fire alarm, fire protection, life safety, security, or electronic components is a plus.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
