Job Description

The Warehouse Worker receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies and equipment. Maintains warehouse supplies and materials
SPECEFIC JOB RESPONIBILITES
Receives, stores and issues materials, supplies and equipment Sets priorities and dates for outgoing deliveries Checks incoming materials, equipment, and supplies for conformity to purchase orders and specifications Inspects orders for quantity, quality, damages and other discrepancies Reports shortages, damages, and other discrepancies as needed Packs and crates equipment and supplies for shipment to vendors of returns, over shipments, damaged shipments and goods to be repaired; completes and maintains memo file for shipping; notifies vendor of pickups for retuned items. Assists with the layout of the warehouse storeroom Prepares inventory control slips and posts control numbers to equipment Use manual material-handling tools (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks) as trained Work cooperatively with material handlers and supervisors Follow directions and respond to changing priorities Communicate issues or delays promptly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 0-2
years of experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment High School Diploma Requires limited job knowledge of systems and procedures. Follows basic work routines and standards Does not require advanced education and requires little to no prior experience
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
