Job Description The Manufacturing Technician plays a key role on the production floor, performing hands-on assembly, testing, and rework with a focus on quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery. Assemble and repair products that meet or exceed quality, customer, and company goals. We're open to candidates interested in either 1st shift, 2nd shift, or a weekend shift. Essential Job Duties Assemble, repair, and rework assemblies and circuit boards efficiently with minimal supervision, producing thorough and exact output Assemble and test mechanical components using test equipment, fixtures, engineering drawings, and Manufacturing Assembly Procedure (MAP) instructions Perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery Perform functional testing on products using specialized test equipment Support all areas of the production floor as required Perform data collection using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods Maintain inventory and perform transactions accurately using our inventory control system Qualifications Basic Job Skills Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in a similar environment a plus, but not required Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, or electrical equipment a plus Strong fine motor skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions High attention to detail Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with an understanding of cleanliness standards Basic computer skills a plus Behaviors & Ways of Working Strong work ethic — this is our most important requirement Willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills Works well both independently and as part of a team Dependable and consistent daily attendance Drive to meet and exceed established goals Education and/or Experience We encourage candidates at all experience levels to apply. This level begins in our introductory program, which includes an assessment period with the potential for increased compensation upon successful completion Certifications / License Mechanical Technology Certification preferred but not required Physical Requirements Requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods Must be able to lift, carry, or move up to 20 pounds frequently Additional Information A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $18.50-$24.00 per hour. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10% as well as 401K match up to 8% (vesting schedule). The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
