Night Shift Location:
Garden City, New York Position Type:
Full-Time Shift:
Night Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5 days/week)
Compensation:
From $17.00 per hour About the Role Join our fast-paced operations team as a Night Shift Truck Loader . In this vital role, you will stage, pack, and load customer merchandise into our fleet vehicles, ensuring every delivery route leaves organized, secure, and ready for on-time morning dispatch. If you thrive in an active, hands-on warehouse environment and take pride in dependable work, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do Route Loading:
Securely load boxed and bagged garment/linen orders into assigned fleet trucks based on daily delivery manifests.
Order Accuracy:
Pack and stage orders according to specific customer requirements, double-checking counts to ensure route accuracy.
Dock Management:
Keep staging areas, loading bays, and equipment organized, clean, and hazard-free.
Team Collaboration:
Partner with production leads and route drivers to ensure seamless transition from processing to delivery.
Flexibility:
Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For Work Ethic & Reliability:
Dependable attendance and punctuality for a steady 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM schedule.
Independence & Detail:
Ability to follow instructions, learn operational processes quickly, and work productively without constant supervision.
Team Mindset:
Positive, professional attitude and effective communication skills.
Physical Capability:
Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the entire shift. Ability to manually handle and pack merchandise in a warm, active production environment.
