Machine Material Handler

Job Title:

Material Handler, Non-Exempt Department /

Location:

Injection and Blow Molding, Honeoye, NY Purpose:

Provide raw materials to the production department.

Scope:

Injection and Blow molding.

Responsibilities:

Supply the production department in a safe and efficient manner with the correct raw material at each machine, per work orders.

• Pull Material per Pick List
• Dry material per established process
• Blend Material per BOM
• Remove old material from machines and work area
• Re-grind runners and rejected parts as necessary
• Load material to dryers and hoppers
• Check hoppers periodically to ensure that material is flowing properly
• Ensure that hoppers, bins, bags, cartons and dryers are properly labeled
• Return un-used material to the warehouse (post production staging area)

Authorities:

Selection of auxiliary equipment for drying and grinding.

Physical Requirements:

Familiar with use of hand tools Ability to bend, twist, reach and work in awkward positions Ability to lift up to seventy-five pounds

Key Processes Owned:

Supply of raw materials to molding machines. Grinding of runners and rejected parts. Routine maintenance of auxiliary equipment. Return of Material to warehouse.

Organization:

Reports to senior process technician.

Pay:

$23.59 - $25.00 per hour
