Job Description
Chemical Warehouse Waste Technician Position Summary The Chemical Warehouse Waste Technician is responsible for the safe handling, storage, shipment, and receipt of bulk chemicals and hazardous waste materials within a warehouse environment. This role ensures compliance with environmental, safety, and transportation regulations while maintaining accurate inventory control through Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). The technician supports daily warehouse operations, chemical waste management programs, and logistics activities related to receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions. This position is for Day Shift - Monday through Friday Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in chemical warehousing, hazardous waste management, manufacturing, or logistics operations. Experience using Oracle EBS, Oracle WMS, or similar enterprise warehouse management systems. Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and waste management practices. Experience with shipping and receiving documentation and inventory control processes. Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment. Strong computer and data entry skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment. Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Training. DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping Certification. Forklift Certification. Experience in chemical manufacturing, environmental services, or industrial operations. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle ERP, or other inventory management systems. Experience handling bulk liquid chemicals and tanker shipments.
The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
Hourly:
