FULL TIME YARD PERSON

Local family owned lumber yard is seeking a hardworking, hands on, energetic individual to be responsible for day-to-day operations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Coordinate operations between store and yard employees and management to maintain inventory levels.
• Oversee property and equipment maintenance and recommend improvements.
• Load and unload lumber and other building materials from trucks using forklift.
• Organize and maintain the lumber yard, ensuring materials are stored in a neat and accessible manner
• Assist customers with loading their vehicles and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in operating a forklift
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar environment would be preferred.
