Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Location:

Maspeth, NY Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00

PM Pay Rate:

$18.00 / hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and physically active Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced distribution environment in Maspeth, NY. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company. Forklift training will be provided on-site!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Loading & Unloading:

Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight trucks and containers.

Order Fulfillment:

Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.

General Warehouse:

Maintain inventory organization, keep work areas clean and hazard-free, and assist with general facility duties as assigned.

Equipment Operation:

Learn and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (on-the-job training provided) .

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse experience (within the last 12 months).

Physical Ability:

Must be comfortable on your feet all day (standing, walking, bending) and able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs .

Work Ethic:

Punctual, dependable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.

Language:

Basic English communication skills required to follow safety guidelines and read pick tickets.
