Warehouse Associate

TN01 Overview We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving operations within our warehouse facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be physically fit, organised, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A valid forklift licence and mechanical knowledge are desirable assets. Responsibilities Handling materials efficiently across the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and moving stock using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Picking and packing items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control standards are maintained throughout the process. Stocking shelves and organising inventory to optimise space utilisation and facilitate easy access. Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments. Conducting routine inspections of equipment and stock to identify potential issues or discrepancies. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when necessary. Experience Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting and the use of forklifts (a valid forklift licence is advantageous). Experience operating warehouse management systems or similar software is desirable. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, stock organisation, and quality control processes will be beneficial. Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of warehouse machinery will be considered an asset.
