Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Support order picking processes by accurately locating and retrieving items using RF scanners and basic math skills. Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy machinery following OSHA safety protocols. Help organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and documentation for shipping & receiving. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations and adherence to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area by following proper manual handling procedures and safety guidelines. Assist in the shipping process by preparing shipments for dispatch, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper load securement. Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution is preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners enhances efficiency in order picking and materials handling. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA regulations. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments are essential. Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations will be advantageous. A strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and manual handling best practices is required for success in this role.
