  • Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
  • Job Summary
  • Seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, receiving and shipping materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring products are stored and handled according to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

  • Shift:
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
  • Pay Rate:
  • $21.00 per hour
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies.

+ Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks while verifying shipments for accuracy and condition.

+ Receive, inspect, and properly store inventory using warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.

+ Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

+ Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

+ Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices and proper product rotation procedures.

+ Maintain accurate documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.

+ Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards.

+ Inspect forklifts before each shift and report equipment issues or maintenance needs.

+ Assist with production support by delivering materials to manufacturing areas as needed.

+ Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, quality, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.

+ Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications
  • + High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience preferred.

+ Prior forklift operating experience required; forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification.

+ Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.

+ Basic computer and data entry skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

  • Physical Requirements
  • + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. + Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout a 12-hour shift. + Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including refrigerated or cold storage areas if required. + Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for extended periods.
