Warehouse Associate

Our client, a premier family-owned provider of relocation, warehousing, and logistics services, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team in Poughkeepsie, New York . In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end handling of inventory—from receiving and put-away to the accurate processing and shipping of e-commerce orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Process, package, and accurately ship e-commerce orders to meet customer demands. Load and unload inbound receipts and outbound orders using established safety methods. Organize stock and maintain inventory accuracy by following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilize mobile scanning equipment and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and locate items. Put away incoming inventory and organize warehouse space as directed by management. Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks (training provided if necessary). Maintain a clean and safe work environment by abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations. Work both independently and collaboratively as a productive member of the warehouse team.

Requirements:

Experience:

1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Equipment:

Previous experience with forklifts and electric pallet jacks is required.

Physical Ability:

Exceptional physical coordination and the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic inventory tracking.

Core Competencies:

Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow strict safety procedures.
