The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, safety protocols, and materials handling to ensure smooth order fulfillment and shipping & receiving processes. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to contribute effectively to our fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate stock levels. Operate heavy equipment including tow motors and forklifts safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials during transportation within the warehouse. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision to meet quality standards. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing items against documentation. Stock shelves and organize materials in designated areas following safety guidelines and OSHA standards. Assist in packaging products securely for delivery while maintaining efficiency. Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly. Deliver Material to customers homes Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational procedures. Experience Previous experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or manufacturing environments preferred. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation. Mechanical aptitude or construction background can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, order picking, packing, or load & unload tasks. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, inventory control techniques, and materials handling best practices is a plus.
