Nesco Resource, a national staffing firm has an immediate need for a General Laborer for a client in Ronkonkoma. General Labor-Shake Out - IMMEDIATE Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM Overtime as Needed What You'll Do Remove (shake/punch out) metal parts from sheet metal after laser cutting Sort and dispose of scrap metal properly Load finished parts onto pallets and transport materials using a pallet jack Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE Work closely with team members to keep production moving efficiently Assist in other areas as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Sheet metal experience is a plus (but not required) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing setting with occasional loud noise Humidity levels may increase during the summer months Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand minimum of 8 hours per shift Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
