Randstad is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator for an established Long Island manufacturer. We are looking for someone who can handle the full warehouse process — receiving materials, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and preparing outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment Load and unload trucks and incoming/outgoing shipments Perform shipping and receiving duties Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts Move materials between warehouse and production areas Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping paperwork Palletize, wrap, label, and prepare outgoing freight Maintain organized warehouse and storage locations Document inventory and material movement accurately Follow all forklift, warehouse, quality, and safety procedures Qualifications Previous warehouse experience required Forklift experience required Shipping and receiving experience Inventory control experience Experience picking, packing, and staging orders Ability to accurately track parts and quantities Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment Reliable with attention to detail Interested? Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. Move materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
