Job Description

Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stock inventories for the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.

Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet, and hand truck as required.

Unloads shipped materials as required.

Pulls items from stock according to designated work orders.

Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning according to established work and safety standards.

Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.

Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.

Maintains equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.

Complies with company policies and procedures, while giving special attention to safety regulations.

Work with direct supervision

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

$20 - $24 per hour

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Visual acuity and manual dexterity

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Work well in a team environment

Knowledge of basic math

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.



Ability to follow guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Practices department and company-wide continuous improvement

Willingness to train in multiple disciplines to drive company-wide cross-functionality

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
