Hiring Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Operation Staff at New York Branch K Line Logistics USA Inc., is seeking a qualified individual for Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Operation position at our New York Branch located at; "K" Line Logistics (USA) Inc. 145-68 228th Street, Unit 2, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413 . . The Warehouse Operation will be responsible for the following: Stage, load, and unload products and materials. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory. Loading and unloading ocean containers Maintain a clean and safe working environment

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling products for shipping. Stage finished product for loading. Load finished product onto truck. Unload products and materials from truck. Move materials to warehouse storage. Weigh and measure cargo. Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is to be sent out. Operate forklift and pallet jack. Complete daily logs. Perform maintenance checks on forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES 1.

Clean and maintain work area. 2. Challenge strangers and escort them according to TSA regulation 3. Provide on the-job training to new employees. 4. May be required to drive company vehicles.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1.

Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Forklift certification and safety training. 3. Some computer skill and logistics business experience 4. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery 5. Ability to lift 40 pounds required. 6. Valid state issued Driver's License.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Work involves frequent lifting. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment.
