Part-Time Bottle Return Help Wanted Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a part-time Bottle Return Associate, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help keep our operations running smoothly! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the bottle return process, ensuring accurate handling of materials, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain warehouse experience while contributing to a sustainable environment. Duties Assist customers with bottle returns, ensuring proper manual handling and processing of containers Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and basic heavy equipment like clamp trucks or forklifts when trained and certified Load and unload returned bottles from vehicles using appropriate materials handling techniques Maintain inventory accuracy by tracking returned bottles and updating records using inventory management systems and RF scanners Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing returned bottles for storage or disposal as needed Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations preferred Experience with order picking, inventory management, or materials handling is a plus Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks safely (certification preferred) Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and proper lifting techniques Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory accurately Familiarity with warehouse tools like RF scanners and OSHAsafety standards is advantageous Reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency Join us in making a positive impact through sustainable practices!
