Job Title:
Clean Room Material Handler (1st and 2nd Shift) Job Description This role supports a clean room manufacturing operation by handling materials, operating forklifts, and assisting excipient operators and chemical handlers in a highly controlled, pharmaceutical-focused environment. You will work on either 1st shift (7:00 a.m.3:00 p.m., MondayFriday) or 2nd shift (3:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.), performing a mix of warehouse, documentation, and clean room bulk filling activities while maintaining strict accuracy and safety standards. Responsibilities Assist excipient operators and chemical handlers in a clean room and production environment, including bulk filling activities. Load and unload trucks, spending approximately 50% of the day operating a forklift. Store, pick, stage, and ship products according to work orders and standard procedures. Support an off-shift team of fewer than five people by helping wherever needed, including outside the shipping department when required. Handle products used in the pharmaceutical industry with extremely accurate documentation and strong attention to detail. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and standing for the entire shift. Load trucks and package orders securely to meet quality and safety standards. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials in accordance with work orders and documented procedures. Manage and track inventory, including performing cycle counts and participating in audits. Enter and adjust inventory data in the computer system as needed, ensuring accurate records. Move product on cartons, pallets, and in rail car containers using appropriate material handling equipment. Put away stock, monitor inventory levels, and document low stock or shortages promptly. Operate a shrink-wrap machine to prepare pallets and shipments. Use an ERP system for documentation, tracking, and sign-offs for each operation completed during down packing. Operate filling machines in a clean room environment while following all quality and safety guidelines. Organize the work area, stock products, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Work within

Wear a ventilated hood and other required personal protective equipment when working in the clean room and assisting with bulk filling. Follow detailed documentation and work orders precisely, including calculations related to weights and quantities. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of forklift experience with sit-down or stand-up reach trucks. Demonstrated experience working with very detailed documentation and following work orders accurately. Strong basic math skills, including the ability to calculate weights and quantities. Ability and willingness to work in a clean room environment and handle chemicals. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and twist for the entire shift. Comfort working with inventory systems and entering data into an ERP system. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling pharmaceutical-related products. Reliable attendance and the ability to work assigned 1st or 2nd shift hours. Ownership of or ability to obtain steel toe boots. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a chemical handler, batch mixer, or in a clean room environment is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.07 - $21.07/hr.
