Join Giant Eagle as a Distribution Team Member in our Food & Beverage Operations, supporting the Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement department. In this role, you'll accurately receive, select, and stage grocery products, operate material-handling equipment, and help ensure on-time, in-full orders to our stores. You'll maintain safety, quality, and cleanliness standards while using inventory and warehouse systems. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you'll partner with team members to solve problems, support continuous improvement, and keep our customers' shelves stocked every day. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and verify inbound grocery shipments Pick, pack, and stage outbound store orders accurately and on time Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment safely Use warehouse and inventory systems to track product movement Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned work areas Follow food safety, quality, and temperature-control standards Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives Collaborate with team members and leaders to meet productivity goals Report equipment, safety, or product issues promptly Support continuous improvement and standard operating procedures Required Skills Order picking and packing Warehouse management systems (WMS) usage Forklift and pallet jack operation Basic inventory control RF scanner operation Understanding of food safety and handling standards Basic computer/data entry skills Reading pick lists and shipping documents Workplace safety and OSHA awareness Time management and productivity tracking
