Job Summary This position is responsible for receiving inbound products from vendors, verifying shipment accuracy, and efficiently sorting and staging inventory for same-day distribution to retail store locations. Key Responsibilities The Allotment Team Member is responsible for executing daily tasks that support the timely flow of just-in-time inventory through the facility, ensuring 100% on-time delivery to retail locations.
Core responsibilities include:
Accurately receive, identify, and verify inbound allotment shipments; ensure quantities and product descriptions align with purchase orders. Inspect products and packaging to confirm quality standards, including checking for proper dating, defects, and damage. Collaborate with team members to sort, segregate, and stage products for outbound shipment to retail locations. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support special projects and perform additional duties assigned by leadership. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Proficiency in using relevant computer systems and software. Ability to solve routine problems involving a limited number of variables in standardized situations. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable attendance record. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical Demands The physical demands outlined below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for handling, grasping, and reaching. May occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close and distance vision capabilities. Ability to work extended periods in refrigerated (approximately 34°F) and freezer (approximately -10°F) environments. Company-provided cold-weather PPE must be worn as required.
