CDL-A Local Delivery Driver Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Warehouse Specialist / CDL-A Driver to join our team. Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Route Operations:

Drive assigned local routes and strictly follow delivery schedules. Ensure all deliveries are on time, accurately offloaded, and handled in accordance with company policies. Perform product rotation and merchandising at retail accounts. Collect customer payments upon delivery. Reconcile daily collections with invoice totals at the end of each route. Clean and inspect delivery trucks to prepare for restocking. Maintain professional, courteous relationships with retail customers.

Warehouse Operations:

Process inbound and outbound shipments to and from suppliers. Restock warehouse inventory, pull order items, and build/stage pallets for delivery. Safely operate forklifts and other standard warehouse equipment. Assist with routine inventory management, counts, and audits. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications & Requirements License:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.

Age:

Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement for interstate/commercial routes).

Health & Safety:

Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and maintain a valid DOT Physical Certification.

Physical Capabilities:

Strong physical stamina, including repetitive lifting of 30+ lbs and the ability to maneuver/transport heavy items (such as kegs up to 167 lbs) using appropriate lifting equipment and techniques.

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail, basic math/cash-handling skills, and strong customer service abilities.
