Stock/Warehouse Clerk / Full Time / Days The Stock/Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, transporting, distributing, and maintaining medical supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure timely support of patient care, hospital operations, and departmental needs while adhering to safety, infection control, and organizational policies. The Stock/Warehouse Clerk is an onsite position. Essential Functions Receives palletized and packaged shipments by unloading trucks, inspecting and verifying contents against packing lists, documenting discrepancies, and routing documentation to Purchasing Coordinators. Distributes supplies, mail, medical gas cylinders, instruments, linen, and courier packages throughout the hospital, medical office building, and Rehab Services building in a timely and accurate manner. Transports soiled linen, used instruments, recyclable medical items, furniture, equipment, and supply carts safely and in accordance with hospital safety and infection control policies. Maintains storeroom inventory by completing par level counts, picking and issuing stock, replenishing crash carts, assisting with refills and put-away tasks, and reporting stock discrepancies or shortages. Supports inventory management operations by participating in shelf labeling, cycle counts, annual physical inventory, equipment use, recycling processes, and other departmental duties as assigned. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
