Job Description
Your role involves identifying optimal storage locations for arriving inventory and managing space allocation throughout the facility. You will support the physical relocation of goods to their assigned spots while overseeing general storage operations. By reviewing work orders, you will coordinate picking tasks and execute them based on provided guidelines. You are responsible for verifying that picked items align with order documentation to maintain accuracy. Utilizing forklifts, you will transport heavy packages to inspection zones, where you will confirm the quality and volume of goods before safely staging them for shipment. You will manage finished product placement, document any damaged or faulty goods for replacement per internal protocols, and oversee returns by adhering to established reverse logistics procedures. Additionally, you will determine shipping methods based on your understanding of rates, routes, and logistics, while cross-referencing shipment details against original orders. Your duties also include maintaining supply levels for production lines, retrieving finished goods, and preparing containers. You will ensure products reach the correct departments, label shipments with necessary delivery details, and maintain accurate logs of all outgoing inventory. Essential Competencies Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite. Physical Demands Maintain the ability to lift up to 50 pounds to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
