Skat Blast, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Canfield, Ohio. Since 1978, Skat Blast has been a leading manufacturer of Made-in-the-USA sandblasting cabinets, abrasive blasting equipment, and automotive restoration products. As a member of our General Labor / Assembly team, you will assemble a variety of products, components, and accessories in a clean, organized, team-oriented manufacturing environment. At Skat Blast, we pride ourselves on providing regular daytime hours, competitive pay with opportunities for advancement, and a stable work environment with no layoffs . Starting at $16-$18 per hour depending on experience , with opportunities for increases as you progress. Full-time position available, conveniently located in the Canfield area. 40-hour weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Duties Assemble a variety of manufactured products, components, and subassemblies Operate basic hand and power tools to complete assembly and fabrication tasks Perform drilling, riveting, cutting, deburring, bending, and other light manufacturing processes Inspect, test, and package finished products for inventory and shipment Build and replenish inventory of commonly used products and components Read and follow basic work instructions and assembly procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Cross-train in multiple assembly processes and assist with other production duties as needed Requirements Near-perfect attendance Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well in a team environment Strong attention to detail and quality Good organizational skills Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to use basic hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring tools Reliable transportation Pass background check and drug screen
