Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily payables and receivables activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare customer billing, track incoming payments, and communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances.
- Maintain organized and reliable accounting records within QuickBooks Online to support day-to-day financial operations.
- Record journal entries and assist with balancing accounts to help maintain accurate financial statements.
- Review accounting information for completeness and resolve discrepancies through careful analysis and follow-up.
- Monitor overdue accounts and support collection efforts to improve cash flow and reduce aging balances.
- Contribute to month-end close tasks, including reconciliations and other general accounting support.
- Provide assistance with special reporting requests and additional finance projects as business needs evolve.
- Develop working knowledge of payroll activities and gradually assist with payroll processing responsibilities.
- Learn commission tracking processes and help support quarterly calculations and reporting.
