Early 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 11:00am to 7:30pm We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in East Liberty, Ohio. The Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, managing waste streams, preparing shipments, and supporting hazardous waste transportation and disposal activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities As a Warehouse Material Handler , you will: Operate forklifts, tugger machines, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Routinely pull trains of carts containing cardboard, trash, plastic, and other waste materials. Empty carts in designated processing areas and return carts for continued use. Support the packing, transportation, recycling, and disposal of hazardous waste. Load and unload company trucks and common carriers using forklifts and other required equipment. Prepare hazardous waste shipments for transportation to off-site recycling and disposal facilities. Verify and complete all required shipping and hazardous waste documentation with accuracy. Follow all customer site regulations, company policies, and environmental compliance requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Previous forklift experience required. Experience operating a tugger machine preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and shipping documentation. Experience handling hazardous materials or waste is a plus, but not required. Physical Demands & Work Environment The Warehouse Material Handler position requires: Ability to tilt back or break down approximately 800-pound drums onto a dolly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift. Ability to work in an industrial environment with daily exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals. Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection. Ability to pass a company physical examination and drug screening. Participation in a medical surveillance program. Compliance with all site-specific safety requirements and procedures.
