Company Overview The Hardwood Store has been serving Dayton and the surrounding areas with the finest in interior trim products since 1988. We are a full-service millwork company dedicated to providing personalized service and leveraging extensive experience in all aspects of architectural millwork. Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Front Counter / Warehouse team member to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for customers while actively contributing to efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Greet customers at the front counter, assist with product inquiries, and process sales transactions efficiently Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other materials handling tools safely and effectively Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipping and receiving purposes Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counts Requirements Previous warehouse experience or construction background preferred Previous knowledge of basic building and remodeling Computer skills not limited to, pdf's, spreadsheets, point of sale system, credit card machine, email, word and excel Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and shipping & receiving processes Excellent communication skills to interact effectively at the front counter and within the team Join us in delivering exceptional service while supporting efficient warehouse operations!
