Shift:
Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:00pm This position will be located in Solon, Ohio Hourly Rates starting at $21.00 and up. Increase after 90 days plus shift differential Paid weekly The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support operational needs. The Material Handler will operate various material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently, maintaining organization and inventory accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent years of experience Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in future Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment preferred Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation. Familiarity with assembly line processes and support. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Operate material handling equipment such as forklift or tow-motor to move materials and supplies Unload trailers / trucks and enter purchase order receipts, generate material labels Pick up trash hoppers and corrugate hoppers from the production floor Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track inventory and update records in real time. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all safety guidelines and company policies.
