Shift Differential:
$1.00 per hour Reliable and consistent attendance throughout the seasonal assignment is required. Position Summary Seasonal Material Handlers provide general labor support to our production, warehouse, shipping, and pack-on-demand operations during our busy holiday season. This position helps maintain a consistent flow of products and materials throughout the facility so customer orders can be prepared accurately and shipped on time. Depending on the assigned area, Material Handlers may support palletizing, light assembly, packaging components, production lines, shipping operations, and preparation of gift orders. What You'll Do Build pallets according to required storage specifications and pallet patterns Stack and unstack pallets as needed Support production and shipping lines by maintaining a consistent flow of products and removing completed items Read SKU numbers and sort products by box size and SKU for loading Assist with light assembly tasks, including trays, lids, and packaging components Feed tapers and prepare gift orders for shipment Help configure gifts and materials to support customer orders Perform general housekeeping duties, including breaking down boxes, removing trash, and sweeping Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance requirements are followed Support other departments and production areas as assigned Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines Maintain reliable and consistent attendance What We're Looking For Some high school education Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently throughout the shift Basic English reading skills Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment Dependable and reliable attendance Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Work Environment Requirements Candidates should be comfortable with: Standing and walking throughout the shift Repetitive movements involving hands, wrists, and arms Bending and twisting Light assembly and material-handling work Stacking and unstacking pallets Regularly lifting approximately 20-30 pounds Lifting up to 50 pounds on rare occasions, depending on assignment SQF / Food Safety Guidelines Because this position works within a food-production environment, associates must follow established SQF requirements, including: No jewelry other than a plain wedding band No fingernail polish or artificial nails No open-toe or backless shoes Pants and shorts must be free of shreds, tears, or holes Join Us for the Holiday Season Our holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year, and our Seasonal Material Handlers play an important role in helping prepare customer orders and gifts.
