We're currently seeking an experienced Lead Material Handler for a Direct Hire opportunity in Hilliard, OH with a growing manufacturing team that values organization, accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy owning your warehouse, keeping production moving, solving inventory puzzles before they become problems, and being the go-to person others rely on… this may be exactly what you've been looking for. What You'll Be Doing As the Lead Material Handler , you'll be the warehouse point person for inventory accuracy, material flow, and ERP system integrity. You'll work closely with production, purchasing, planning, and finance to make sure the right materials are in the right place… at the right time. In this role, you will: Lead daily warehouse and material handling operations Pick, stage, and issue materials for production work orders Maintain accurate inventory transactions, bin transfers, and system updates Perform and oversee daily cycle counts and inventory audits Review and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs) , work orders, and assembly builds Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies before they impact production Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready warehouse Partner with purchasing, planning, production, and finance teams to improve inventory integrity Identify process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce recurring errors What You Bring High School Diploma or higher 5+ years of warehouse/material handling experience Previous experience in a Lead, Senior, or go-to warehouse role Strong understanding of BOMs, work orders, and assembly builds Experience with inventory control, cycle counts, and material transactions ERP system experience required
- NetSuite ERP experience is highly preferred and will strongly set you apart Comfortable with shipping systems, scanners, and basic computer applications Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to prioritize, pivot quickly, and support changing production needs Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally ?
