Hilliard, OH Overview:

We are seeking Math and/or English Tutors to work with elementary and middle school students in a small-group, in-person setting. All curriculum, lesson plans, and materials are provided. This is a year-round, part-time position with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate small-group tutoring sessions in Math and/or English Deliver instruction using provided curriculum and materials Explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs Support homework completion and reinforce classroom learning Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Provide constructive feedback to students and parents Foster a positive and structured learning environment Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, English, or a related field Experience tutoring or teaching Math and/or English Teaching license (completed or in progress) required Substitute or retired teaching experience preferred Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills Patient and adaptable teaching style

Work Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday:

5:00 PM - 8:00

PM Saturday:

2:00 PM - 5:00 PM If any of the listed days or times are not feasible, availability may be discussed. Please note that work hours are subject to change during the summer.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
