In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth distribution processes. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, shipping logistics, and inventory control. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners and pallet jacks to ensure accuracy and condition. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picker equipment and inventory management software. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks, stock shelves, and organize storage areas. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms like AS400 or MRP systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and stock replenishment. Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update stock information to support effective warehouse operations. Follow trade compliance standards and international trade regulations when handling export/import shipments. Qualifications Prior experience in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers. Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and packing techniques. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for data entry and stock management. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
