Summary For more than 130 years, Westwater Supply has been a locally owned leader in wholesale distribution of plumbing, heating and water system products and supplies to customers throughout Ohio. We are seeking a full-time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate who will be based out of our Marietta, Ohio branch facility.
Hours:
6:30am - 4:00pm (varies by branch and route)
Days:
Monday - Friday (no nights or weekend hours required) Job Responsibilities include: Accurately pull orders with RF mobile scanners, label and stage orders for delivery Load truck and unload materials for assigned branch and customers while adhering to safety procedures Accurately and timely make deliveries and pickups, and complete daily delivery paperwork Perform routine inspections of truck and supplies to ensure safety, maintenance and cleanliness Operate a forklift and pallet jack Assist in the warehouse when needed Work in a team atmosphere, and provide friendly and helpful customer service
Required Qualifications:
Experience driving a 26' box truck with a liftgate (CDL not required) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and handle freight with use of a hand truck (drivers/warehouse associates handle large products such as pipe, water heaters, heating and cooling equipment, and showers) Experience driving a forklift and moving material with a pallet jack Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL not required) Excellent attendance history, punctuality and reliability A neat and orderly professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RF mobile scanners Prior warehouse and customer service experience Prior experience or knowledge of the building industry and related plumbing and heating products
Education:
