ABOUT OUR WAREHOUSE WORKER POSITION
Our Warehouse Workers are the center point of making all of our goods and products arrive in good condition, get sorted, organized and inventoried in our warehouse. In this important role, you'll be responsible for receiving goods and products from delivery trucks and getting them ready for selling in the store. At The Honey Hole, we believe in our team members having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for their career. The role of Warehouse Worker can provide you with the: Ability to follow and maintain safety, quality, and production standards. Ability to blend problem solving with decision making skills. Ability to adapt to different customer interactions and situations. As a Warehouse Worker, no two days are ever the same. However, typically you will have the following responsibilities: Inspect incoming inventory to make sure all parts and pieces are included in the home good or furniture. Understand quality standards and inspect furniture and home goods and other finished products for conformance to standards before it is moved from the warehouse to the store. Move assembled products and furniture from warehouse to store floor. Stock, sort and price furniture, home goods, and other products to be sold. Repair furniture if able to. Unload new inventory from trucks. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of work area and equipment, including, but not limited to, sweeping, wiping, bailing cardboard, and discarding waste. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area; and keep warehouse clean and organized. Keen eye to recognize a problem or realize something is likely to go wrong and be able to communicate effectively and help in overcoming the issue. Works with co-workers to improve processes and product quality. Help load home goods or furniture for customers (if two people are needed, radio for assistance). Support and uphold The Honey Hole core values. Develop teamwork by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Can use a pallet jack, dolly, and other tools to move home goods, furniture, and other inventory around the warehouse, from the warehouse to the store, and to load in customer vehicles.

A job that is not Monday through Friday, sitting at a computer all day. We are busy all day (especially on Friday and Saturday), making it easy for the customers to feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded. We offer some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a great Warehouse Worker. But there are a few skills you should have before joining our team: Communicating effectively, including using positive language and being attentive to your work Welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes Work both independently and with a team We are an awesome place to work and care about our team, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect: Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently moving furniture, home goods, and other inventory up to 75lbs. Consistent work schedule and regular attendance necessary.
