Job Description

Description:
As a Warehouse Receiving Attendant , you will be responsible for daily operations of the warehouse. Schedule In this role, you will work day shift, Monday through Friday. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity; report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items Maintain a clean and orderly workstation Assemble and deliver warehouse orders Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren) Assist in all physical inventories Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor
Requirements:
Performs other job-related duties as requested Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Education High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Preferred Work Experience 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Warehouse and/or receiving experience Preferred Additional Requirements Experience working in a similar warehouse setting Preferred Certified forklift operator or ability to obtain certification Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to operate a forklift (standard and automatic) Ability to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
