2nd Shift Warehouse Associate

Reports to:

Warehouse Manager Summary:

Responsible for Maintaining warehouse inventory in a safe, efficient, organized manner by: receiving, pulling, packing staging, stocking, loading merchandise and maintaining a high level of customer service when interacting with customers. Applicant should be motivated, reliable, energetic and a self starter.

Shift Hours:

Noon

Essential Job Functions:

• Pull and pack merchandise on ship tickets for customers and branches including but not limited to: indoor and outdoor pulling of merchandise, properly packing merchandise, shrink wrapping, boxing and labelling.
• Ensure proper staging of orders for accurate and efficient loading.
• Load and unload material from company, customer and shipping provider's vehicles.
• Verify material is correctly received (and shelved) and that packing slips are accurate, noting any discrepancies / damaged material.
• Accurately enter received material into Eclipse Operating System.
• Provide quality control of merchandise to our branches and customers by ensuring no damaged merchandise is pulled or shipped and that all damage merchandise is reported.
• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack and keep all licensing current.
• Clean and maintain warehouse and individual work areas.
• Work as a team to ensure proper training and efficiency of new employees
• Report any safety concerns to management
• Follow all company procedures while using good judgement and common sense.
• Maintain a positive work environment by presenting one's self, behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful, ethical manner with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Read, Write & Speak English
• Experience in warehousing, logistics and processing material
• Basic computer and typing skills
• Forklift experience
• Ability to perform all essential job functions both indoor and outdoors
• Experience with Eclipse operating system (preferred) This job description is intended to describe the basic job functions and qualification for this position.
