Until the job is complete Sunday is mandatory About the Position We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our team on 3rd Shift. This is an office-based position located within a warehouse environment. The Shipping Clerk will work from the warehouse office and serve as an important point of communication between the shipping office, warehouse associates, pickers, supervisors, managers, drivers, and other departments. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous experience in warehouse shipping, logistics, dispatch, order entry, inventory, or a warehouse office environment is required. Responsibilities Enter, update, and maintain orders accurately within the company system. Assign orders to warehouse pickers based on workload and shipping requirements. Create and assign load assignments to warehouse personnel. Monitor orders and loads throughout the shift and make updates in the system as needed. Close out completed trucks and loads accurately within the system. Print and distribute product, pallet, shipping, and production labels for warehouse and production employees. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with questions or direct calls to the appropriate department. Communicate professionally with warehouse associates, supervisors, managers, drivers, and other departments. Communicate effectively through verbal, written, and email communication. Assist with coordinating shipping activity and resolving order or load discrepancies. Verify that orders, paperwork, labels, and system information are accurate. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipping operations. Assist with daily reports, tracking, data entry, and other administrative tasks. Monitor workflow and communicate delays, shortages, errors, or other issues to supervisors or management. Help ensure orders are picked, staged, loaded, and shipped accurately and on time. Communicate changes or updates to warehouse personnel in a timely manner. Maintain organized files, paperwork, and shipping documentation. Work closely with management to help keep the nightly shipping operation running efficiently. Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Sunday is mandatory. Must be willing and able to work mandatory overtime as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can be the communication and administrative link between the office and the warehouse floor. You should be comfortable working on a computer, managing multiple orders, answering phone calls, sending emails, assigning work to pickers, preparing labels, tracking loads, and communicating with warehouse staff and management throughout the shift. This is not a general warehouse labor position. This is an office/clerical role within a warehouse setting.
