Job Overview Join our dynamic team in our Sewing Department, where your contributions will be vital in driving our manufacturing processes forward! In this role, you will engage in various machine and sewing tasks. Your hands-on skills and dedication will help us maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with sewing and sewing techniques in a manufacturing setting. Candidates who also have alterations, garment, or home sewing experience are encouraged to apply. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact, we want to hear from you! What you'll do Operate and maintain sewing machine equipment. Follow manufacturers procedures and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Basic qualifications Proficiency in operating sewing machines and performing basic sewing tasks. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Sewing experience a plus. All manufacturing jobs are union and part of the United Steel Workers Association. Hours of work are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime when needed. No phone calls, please. We are looking for people who are serious about applying for this job.
