• 8:10 am Position Summary The General Labor Production Associate works at an industrial powder-coating production line, helping move metal parts through the coating process while maintaining production, quality and safety standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Load and hang metal parts onto racks/hooks for the powder-coating production line.
• Remove finished parts from the line after the coating process.
• Inspect coated parts for visible defects, incomplete coverage or other quality concerns.
• Properly stack, organize and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production or shipment.
• Assist with masking, plugging or preparing parts prior to coating as required.
• Maintain proper spacing and positioning of parts on the production line.
• Handle metal components carefully to prevent damage before and after coating.
• Keep the production line supplied with parts to maintain continuous workflow.
• Package and prepare completed products for shipment as required.
• Identify and separate defective or nonconforming parts.
• Meet established production and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Communicate production, equipment or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist in other areas of the powder-coating operation as needed. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is an industrial manufacturing position in a powder-coating facility. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing repetitive work, bending, reaching, lifting and handling metal parts throughout the shift. Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing, production or general labor experience is helpful but not necessarily required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attendance and dependability.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Attention to quality and detail.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to perform repetitive physical work and work as part of a production team.
