Job Description

Job Summary Decko Products is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for moving, staging, and supplying materials to ensure smooth production flow while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and safety standards. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with benefits and potential overtime based on production needs. Duties Move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between warehouse and production areas Stage materials for production runs based on work orders and schedules Verify material identity, lot codes, and quantities before use or movement Supply production lines with materials to prevent downtime Remove finished goods, scrap, and unused materials from production areas Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Perform basic inventory transactions in ERP or warehouse systems Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and material reconciliations Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled storage and staging areas Follow all food safety, GMP, quality, and safety requirements Experience High school diploma or equivalent Forklift experience or willingness to become certified Ability to read work orders, labels, and basic inventory documents Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred Professional demeanor and positive presence when working with vendors and staff Ability to collaborate with production, shipping, and administrative teams Dependable, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities Schedule Full time, Monday-Friday Hours vary between 6am and 6pm Overtime may be required based on production needs.
