Material Handler Solon, OH $20-$22/HR $1,000 Sign on Bonus Material Handler plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by ensuring materials, parts, and products are in the right place at the right time. Assists with pulling and prepping materials, preparing and packaging shipments, and unloading raw materials.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

Package, handle, and protect finished materials and raw materials produced on machines Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving products Label materials going back to stock Assist other operators in the setup of production orders (i.e. core cutting, packaging materials, etc.) Occasionally assist the operators to help operate and run the machine that slits product to customer specifications and dimensions according to work orders Inspect materials to make sure it matches what is required for the orders (i.e. gauge, width sign-offs) Locate and stage materials for upcoming orders and put back raw materials to correct location Unload inbound vendor material and inspect it per our requirements.

Material Handler Requirements:

High school diploma/GED required Previous experience working in a production facility or manufacturing facility Mathematical aptitude Ability to read/understand specifications Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure, ruler, caliper, dial indicator, micrometer and scale Follow written safety procedures Tow motor driving experience preferred Forklift Certification preferred Basic computer skills preferred
