Basic computer skills for inventory management and warehouse tracking systems. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience. 1+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, material handling equipment, or ram trucks. Experience with inventory transactions, shipping, receiving, and material movement preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control. Knowledge of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices. Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Capable of prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and frequent movement throughout the facility. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as business demands require. Job Duties Fill production and customer orders according to schedule and operational requirements. Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate product locations. Supply raw materials and components to production equipment, including coater and slitter operations. Pick, package, label, and prepare materials for shipment. Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently. Maintain organized inventory storage areas and ensure material traceability. Follow all safety procedures, material handling guidelines, and housekeeping standards. Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and other warehouse operations as assigned. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures. The Material Handler supports successful warehouse operations through safe material movement, inventory organization, and dependable warehouse support.
