Warehouse Supervisor Summary Warehouse Associate is responsible for various fulfillment operations including pulling orders, pack/repackaging, shipping, and loading/unloading trucks.
EXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES

Essential Duties Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
  • Receive parts from final inspection, or pull designated items from finished-goods stock.
  • Compare identifying information and count, measure, or weigh items of outgoing shipments to verify information against shipping documents.
  • Manage the packaging of product into proper shipping containers in a manner that will insure safe transit to customer.
  • Affix shipping labels and packing lists on packed cartons.
  • Receive and unload freight either manually or with equipment such as fork lifts and pallet jacks.
  • Unpack and inspect shipments of materials, equipment and supplies to assure compliance with purchase order specifications; identify and report shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies.
  • See that all orders are shipped in a timely fashion.
  • May operate lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments.
  • Maintain stock inventory and warehouse in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
  • Participate in the taking of physical inventory.
  • See that all incoming shipments are received and put away in a timely fashion. Minimum Requirements
  • Proficiency in basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing.
  • Willingness to follow through and complete tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 poundsForklift experience recommended but not required Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent (GED).
Experience handling and shipping material; operating material handling equipment; accessing information on a computer; reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. Knowledge, Ability and Skill The ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to bend, stoop, stand, and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift. The ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
