Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Auditor to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory within our warehouse operations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining efficient inventory management practices, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting our commitment to excellence in warehouse distribution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse management and inventory control, along with a keen eye for detail. Duties Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and discrepancies. Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of goods. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to implement effective materials handling procedures. Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations within the warehouse environment. Assist in the shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain detailed records of audit findings and recommend improvements for inventory processes. Train staff on best practices for inventory management and equipment operation. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on inventory management. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including reach trucks and order pickers. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as AS400 is preferred. Understanding of packaging standards and order fulfillment processes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in auditing processes. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
