About us Wingate Packaging is a small business in
MANUFACTURING
in Washington Court House, OH. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Provide exceptional support to our customers. Seeking a 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift Material Handler Our work environment includes: Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Safe work environment Opportunities for advancement
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in inventory control and cycle counting
  • Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure efficient operations
  • Wrap skids
  • Empty gaylords
  • Work overtime as needed
  • All other job duties assigned by management without hesitation
Skills:
  • Proficient in operating various types of forklifts including clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, etc.
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers
  • Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
Note:
Prior experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role is preferred. Training may be provided for candidates with transferable skills.
