Holds merial for inspection according to established procedures. Routes items not requiring inspection to proper storage locion or the designed organizion. Loads and drives motor truck and/or forklift to move, stack, unstack, load, and unload a variety of merials and equipment. Frequently lifts and carries merial weighing up to 40 pounds, and times may handle items weighing over 70 pounds, using lifting equipment or the assistance of other workers. Qualificions Specialized experience is defined as: Performing warehousing activities which may include keeping logs and records in an orderly and accure manner and the operion of mechanized equipment such as utility vehicles, mobile stock selectors and forklifts to receive and transmit storage, inventory and requisition da under the direct supervision of a Supervisory Merials Handler.Qualificions:
Applicants red in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualificion Standard Handbook X-118C. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed, and show through experience and training th you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties the level for which you are applying. Placement in this position may require a pre-employment physical examinion. This is required due to the physical requirements of this position. Works on hard surfaces and in work areas th require standing, stooping, bending and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries weights up to 40 lbs. May handle heavier items with freight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. Educion Educion is not substitutable for experience requirements.
