JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse High Lift Operator is responsible for operating a reach truck/ double reach truck for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, and stacking of products. The warehouse High Lift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient use of the equipment. The warehouse High Lift Operator is also responsible for order selection and stocking as the need dictates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hand stack product/material when required. Count and inspect incoming and outgoing goods. Utilize computerized inventory control system. Note discrepancies (damages, shortages, overages). Fill out all the necessary paperwork. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including those pertaining to safety, security and food safety. Create and print inventory control tags and apply them to product/ material skids. Store and retrieve product/ material skids using forklifts, electric pallet jacks and high lifts. Unload/Load trucks using electric pallet jacks, forklifts and high lifts Use computerized inventory control system to facilitate all product/ material movement. Select customer orders. Stretch films pallets. Sweep Clean racks Straighten containers Sort skids Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficient math skills are a must. Attention to detail a must. Experience using high lifts is required. Be available to work any shift and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Capable of operating forklift, cherry picker, reach truck and double pallet jack Capable of heavy lifting up to 90lbs. Have good mathematic skills Capable of following verbal and written instructions Ability to read Be available for various shifts as assigned Have no fear of heights Have strong resistance to cold atmosphere
