Apply Description Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. delivers confidence through our products and our people. The Oklahoma City Flooring Team is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Your Typical Day in the
Flooring Warehouse:
Restocking warehouse inventory Accurate and timely completion of receiving activities for cabinets and flooring Timely and accurate completion of periodic cycle counts Load out flooring installers with their products for the day Pulling and staging of all cabinet and flooring materials for the next day's business Assist in delivery of cabinets Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse Follow all safety procedures and personal protection requirements Employees are responsible for proper and safe use, maintenance, and reporting of all company property Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and 100 lbs. as part of a team lift Aptitude to use computers and web based programs Ability to use a calculator and make basic math calculations Communication, organizational, and time-management skills Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detailPreferred Experience:
At least 1 year of current forklift experience Bilingual - Spanish/English Flooring Material/Cabinetry knowledge Environment & Physical Requirements The work environment characteristics here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. This position will regularly lift 50 pounds individually and 100 pounds as part of a team lift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and climb. This role will require extended periods of sitting in a vehicle while on deliveries. Regular exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry and/or humid conditions.
