Job Description
Position Overview Hardin Power Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions for electrical power distribution. Specializing in sales, purchasing, removal, rental, dismantling, recycling, and relocation, we serve clients such as electrical contractors, data centers, manufacturing plants, municipalities, and utility companies. With a commitment to professional decommissioning, salvaging, and reconditioning, we ensure efficient, cradle-to-grave servicing of electrical assets, delivering reliable and sustainable solutions to meet our clients' needs. Our new Oklahoma City location is hiring a Warehouse Associate for hands-on general labor in our warehouse and shop. In this role, you will manage inventory, pull and prepare customer orders, assemble and disassemble electrical equipment, and keep the warehouse organized and running smoothly. No electrical background is required. We provide on-the-job training, and what matters most is mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Knowledge of the electrical field is a plus. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and count incoming shipments against purchase orders Restock shelves and keep inventory labeled, organized, and easy to find Pull, pack, and stage materials for customer orders accurately and on time Load and unload trucks, securing equipment properly for transport Assemble and disassemble electrical equipment (such as circuit breakers, switchgear, and transformers) using hand tools (training provided) Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Break down and sort components and materials for stock or scrap following company protocols Keep the warehouse, staging, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety and operational standards, and report equipment issues or safety concerns to management right away Learn and apply new skills on the job, including equipment identification and basic refurbishment tasks Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools Comfortable interacting with customers Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet in a warehouse environment Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Basic smartphone proficiency for documentation and communication via WhatsApp Dependability, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Subject to a background check Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of electrical equipment or experience in the electrical field Prior warehouse, material handling, or general labor experience Forklift operation experience What We Offer Competitive wages Opportunities for growth and skill development Supportive team environment On-the-job training in electrical equipment handling and refurbishment Hardin Power Group is an equal opportunity employer.
